Dancing Queen
New Year's Day, 9pm. BBC Radio 2 played 3 hours of Abba . What a great show. Number One was Dancing Queen featuring that unforgettable line "feel the beat of the tambourine". John Bonham, eat your heart out.I can never get over the sheer rubbishness of that lyric. Benny and Bjorn didnt even make Blender's list of the 40 worst lyricists, (scroll down for 2-40) although Alanis and her lady lumps is a giggle (see video). I am sure there must be worse lyrics out there.
