Last week, I took a day off work to go geocaching on Dartmoor. I found 10 in 5 hours, which was pretty good, but one I didnt find, called "Avernum", was in a cave (technically speaking, an adit, ie an old mine tunnel). No-one knowing where I was, and not having a decent flashlight or wellies. I chickened out. Which I thought was wise.
Today, I returned with M, a flashlight and wellies. Seventy Five metres up a pitchblack tunnel. Ye gods. Scary, but done. M sat it out under the spring trees, with the bluebells and primroses. I was glad she was there.
Tea and scones after, with our friends in Ivybridge

Hoorah! Well done. I have a thing about old mine openings - They really really really give me the willies. I don't think I could of done it :[]
Scary, you've got more guts than me!
I did something similar in Italy on the Cinque Terre coast, armed only with a nokia phone flash light and lots of spider webs. Had to crawl in side, and still got a DNF
Well done, mate, I'm proud of you!
Top fun! (I am scared of heights but not holes)

And you think I'm mad, I would NEVER do something like that. Too scary!
It's all about the numbers with some people!!
Sounds like a cache that Simon would love to do, I'd be the one sitting outside!!
