Kimberly's flight back to Venezuela was at 06.00 something from LHR T4 via Paris. I booked her and Jus a coach leaving Exeter at 00.30, arriving LHR Central at 05.15. The last train from here to Exeter is 23.25 on a Sunday. They wandered downstairs at around 23.15 after nagging and offers of coffee and we buy tickets as the train is entering the station on the opposite platform. Forcing the door open with the help of the train driver, they get on with luggage.
At the airport, they somehow transfer from LHR Central to T4. K makes her flight by 2 minutes, J catches a bus back to Southampton.
More laid back than a laid back thing. How my son ever got to go around the world before he was 18 is beyond me. He does not understand "late" or "things wont wait". Yet he is so grateful when people help him out. I look forward to when he is old enough to become a nervous wreck like me.
