After the sad experience of my
previous effort at photographing the moon, I seemed to have improved my technique. I can now control shutter speed and have discovered digital zoom, which at 4x, with 12 on the lens, gives me a max 48x magnification. I can nearly see Neil Armstrong's boot prints. Well, maybe not. The moon really wobbles about on the LCD at that mag, so everything needs to be tight on the tripod.

Click to enlarge. I am pleased with the craters, but I ought to do better. Apparently there is a
penumbral lunar eclipse tomorrow, but it doesn't appear to be visible from Yurp.

I really need to buy a T-ring for my scope. Been meaning to for years.
