I had my 1st experience with Marmite the day before S&H's wedding at a Crawley hotel breakfast table. I spread way too thich a layer of it on a slice of toast. :P Afterwards I got instructions that the layer should be ultra thin, so maybe I'll have another go next time I'm in the UK. - Lasse
what's all this 'spread it thin' nonsense? Get it on as thick as possible! better still, eat it straight fom the jar (but not from my jar. oh no indeed, never from my jar)

The Marstons one is fantastic - very nice and a bit different. We also had a special valentines version with Champagne in it. Dead posh, us.
We looked for the new marmite but could not find it! Will look again in September!
Jane! You can get it online!
Marmite is lovely (if not too thick) and prevents beriberi. (I have no idea how I know that but it's true.)
You are all deranged, even though free from beri-beri!

Oops, I noticed I had typed 'thich' instead of 'thick'. It was obviously a typo. My apologies.
Love,
Ladie
