That'll Learn the Bastard

The ivy grows up the wall and nearly the 60 feet down to the railway. It also annoys next doors, although not as much as the dogshit in their garden, and dog escapes, that annoy me. I have never really tackled it until today. The hammer was the main loser.

But then I got the reliable Jemmy onto it.
And now I am the winner
(You can see the amateurish dog defence in the picture).
All I have to do now is watch it die and pull it off the wall. And let Network Rail clear it up, as it falls into the cutting.
No relationship likenesses are intended, but I do recommend the jemmy for difficult problems.

We just battled the ivy in our garden. The old fence lost the battle but now we have a loverly new fence. Ivy will still have to be dug out of the ground grrrrr!
