Peruvian Taxi 2

Up to mum's on the train, complete with daughter's daughter,

and collecting my beautiful son from Southampton on the way. Haven't visited mum's since er well, a long time, although she has been down to ours, eg for her 70th party. Coincidentally, I have been sort of itching to get a car, even though I don't need one. As previously described, a Peruvian taxi seemed like a good choice. And there was one for sale on eBay, less than 5 miles from my mother's, and at a very reasonable price. Not long tax or MoT, but hey, who cares? I offered to collect, but the owner suggested he deliver. Turns out that was not at a time I was going to be there, but mum and boyfriend nobly took it in for me. And what a motor! Starts on the first turn, sneaks up to 80 without effort, virtually rust free. A bit smelly, but emptying the ash tray and hoovering and air freshener will sort that out. And drove 200 miles back home without a problem. Suitably stickered up. All systems are go. Just needs a carpark pass for work.

Why exactly did you go on eBay looking for a Peruvian taxi?
