Now work on the Third Local XXXXX Plan has kicked in, and with one colleague crocked for 4-5 months, and another seconded to our larger neighbour as our contribution to LXP, and with keeping a proper track of my hours, I am suddenly finding I am doing 12 hour days, spread over 16. And no idea of a structure for LXP, or sight of a manager to organise workload. I was not considered good enough for the manager's post but now they get it on the fucking cheap. Firefighting. For no extra pay, after the Job Evaluation results came through (sure, I got a rise, but to the level I was meant to be getting paid extra for, for doing extra work, so it is not extra at all). At this rate I shall be accumulating a week off for every two worked, which is impossible to take. Stress is a vague term, which shouldn't be used lightly, but I imGINE IT IS THERE. Not helped by the fucking Caps Lock button which needs to be placed at the back of the screen, at the very least.
At least, I can dictate my own hours (I really dont have to do 12 hours, but then things would all go pearshaped).
