After Christmas

My Christmas migraine, which is still lurking, even after a splendid night in the Aylesbury Holiday Inn (in preparation for visiting M's Dad, who has just returned from Finland, after being Father Christmas) has not put me in festive mood. The £15 for internet access didn't help (How long can this last in the world of 3G? As long as people like me let them, I suppose. Beware "ibahn"). The Aylesbury Holiday Inn would benefit from being a lot more vertical, with lifts, as you can't get your luggage trolley anywhere near your room: it is so spread out as to be near Weston Turville before you reach your room.

As I may have related earlier, at my Sister's, we stayed in the barn, which doubles as her partner's business premises. For one reason or another, we were locked out Christmas Eve night (although the boys were apparently around until 4am), which required peeing outside, in freezing temperatures, thus creating Yellow Snow.
We did at least get to meet my sister's new granddaughter
