Glories and Furies

Actually won the pub quiz tonight (first time I have ever won one) thanks to Mel's superior pop knowledge (Gumbay Dance Band, Lorrie Anderson) (mine also eg Ashton Gardner and Dike). Congrats and beer vouchers from the pub, followed by a difficult walk home. The wind up the estuary is blowing like I never heard it before: the town makes a sound, and so does the house, and not in a good way. I hope we dont lose anything. It isnt very pleasant living in a wind tunnel.
