Torbay Royal Regatta

The highlight of the regatta at Torquay is the visit of the Red Arrows. This year it seemed in doubt until the last minute as we caught the tail-end of Hurricane Bill. Fortunately at about 5pm, the cloud lifted slightly, and bang on time, BOOM!, they arrived. After last week's photographic disaster at the Dawlish Airshow, where I was unable to get a thing in focus unless it was hovering
I managed to discover a setting on the camera that would actually capture fast moving aircraft, in focus. Oh joy. They put on their low-level show, and rarely disappeared into the cloud. I shall let them speak for themselves.

The usual amazing skill and high emotion
