Rolf Harris.

Marina Hyde in today's Guardian

"Have you ever heard Rolf Harris's version of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven? It has a didgeridoo solo, and is not widely acknowledged to be a masterpiece. Bless Rolf, though, because years after its release, he revealed he'd never actually heard the original when he came to record it. "And when I did," he confessed in horror, "I thought: 'Oh my God, what have I done?'""
Haha One of the best records ever made. I saw Rolf's exhibition in Walsall Art Gallery a few years back. It was really great. What a man.
Plus he never knew how true to reality, Two Little Boys was: his father and uncle were close and both fought in France and Belgium and he didnt find out until recently.
And speaking of the First World War, a man with the surname Ellison was the last man killed. One of my names is Ellison, as a family name. Dad would have known. I must search through his stuff.

I keep thinking of things I need to ask my dad too. It's a real bugger.

There is a picture of my dad (when he was a lad) in the Black Country Bugle apparently. I need to track a copy down
