Bad Day At Asda

So I drop in at Asda, cos I have to go to Newton for recycling and other nefarious doings. The car park is pay and display and you get your money back at the checkout. First machine is taped up. Second machine says "out of order" on the display, 3rd machine wont take cash, 4th machine takes cash not tokens. So that is 20 minutes spent. Watch an idiot drive in the exit (I think the whole road layout outside is poor, but money counts where small District Councils are concerned)
Once inside the store, I dont know where anything is, because I dont come here often, so that takes time (I never did find non Cheddar ie foreign, based cheese). Usual delays getting past people chatting in narrow spaces with their trolleys swung out and their self-awareness receptors turned off.
Self service checkouts busy. Long queue. Why do they let little boys use them, buying sweets with pennies that wont go in, taking ten minutes for 25p, or other groups of morons, who should be directed to Somerfield?
Eventually got a checkout, and every item needs the supervisor ("Needs Authorisation!" "Item not bagged!" etc. Sorry for the poor superviser who has to keep returning to me, and I am aware that I may have seemed as useless as those mentioned above). Get out of that one eventually. Forgot to buy newspaper, but not going back. Didn't redeem car park ticket and so lost a quid. I shop, I'm good at it (we even have a joint account especially for shopping) , but I don't need this.

Poor man you have my sympathy.
We parked in a supermarket with 11 mtr motorhome and trailer for free yesterday and stayed for 5 hours. The shopping experience was a nightmare though as the trolly etiquette in France is awful. People are so rude in the part of France we were in. I find they get nicer the further south you go.
