The accident occurred when she was turning at a junction. Some jerk swerved to avoid another turning vehicle and took her out.
Jus was just off to see her at the hospital again, when I rang this evening. Still seems very calm about the whole thing, not bad for someone 3000 miles from home. He's confident about her, which seems like a good thing. Her parents have told him not to worry and to keep on working.

His mum rang 2 nights ago, and I was generous enough to slip her Roxie/Justin's phone number. Bad of me really, the last thing he needs. He usually only speaks to her when he needs something. He hasn't lived with her since he was one year old.

Here's hoping Roxie pulls through OK.
She has a good chance, y'know. Us youngsters are tougher than we look. :)
I only just read your last blog, Andy. I hope Roxie'll be OK; it makes it somehow worse that I met her.
Bad stuff LH. Hope she pulls through OK.
Sounding a little more positive - still crossing fingers, saying prayers and thinking of you xx
Fingers crossed here too. A horribly worrying time for your Boy.
Fingers and other bodily bits crossed here for her :]
And here. Sending lots of strength to them both.
