We have had 13 years of labour government, with some major achievements, such as Sure Start, Human Rights Act, devolution etc, and some major disasters such as Iraq, and the massive increase in executive salaries compared to the average employees. Oh, and the banking disaster and the continued payment of bonuses to bankers who made profits on our money.
What have we got from a new prospective ruling party? A reduction in inheritance tax for the 3000 richest families. 3000 richest families? ie Cameron's chums from Eton? I think we know where this lot are going. Be ready for more "business friendly" (ie stealing our money) policies, a break with Europe (our main trading partners), a dose of homophobia and anti single parent policies (blame the mother, not the father), cuts in public services, which will affect all of us.
Why is there not a decent left party which will attract popular support and regulate and control business, protect the environment and civil rights and make us all prosperous? It cant be beyond the wit of mankind surely?
Is their a coterie of civil servants that convert and control politicians, serve the ruling class and keep us all under the thumb?

I don't yet know who I will be voting for, but after what Ed Balls has done to Education, in particular his attack on Home Education (and intends to continue to do if they get back into power) it sure as hell won't be Labour.
Any party that could even consider for a second taxing people for dying won't get mine either.
