Allotment Cavalry

When you need help, friends are there for you. My allotment has been really suffering from lack of attention (it needs a minimum of twice weekly visits, which it hasn't been getting). So a visit from the King of Sweden and his lovely consort was most welcome.
The three sections were 1. Sloppily raked over by the King ("sow runner beans, they'll keep down the weeds!"), so that's where the runner beans are going (generously supplied by his Majesty);

2. an entire section lovingly and thoroughly forked over with a handfork by Tammy, and now suitable for growing orchids or other precious things such as football players

and 3. the properly de-rooted and weeded section is now suitable for Convolvulus and Couch Grass, as usual etc(mine and M's bit).

M busied herself stealing the neighbour's neglected raspberries. Mally and Tammy's visit thoroughly restored my confidence in the allotment business. Thanks, chums!
The Allotment Secretary saw us all working on the land, and now I have Brownie points to burn, and the "Tidy Up Your Allotment" letter is further delayed.
After, fish and chips outside the pub on the back beach and back home for TV, Honey Vodka and seekrit plotting by me and Omally aka the King of Sweden ahead of the Cropredy Festival next week.

I'm still here, living it up (er sort of) in New Jersey, glad to see your life is still revolving around the important things, like M, chums, alcohol and a bit of environmentalism.

Is that the slug pub I gave you in the corner of the pic?

If yes, then why is Omally drinking all the bait!
