Hook, Sign and W*nkers

For years, the only place to hang a jacket in the loos at work has been on this virtual hook. What a fine artist.

Now some kind soul (ie me) has supplemented the hook with this fine hooky representation of a space shuttle. It has lasted all of 48 hours without a snotty all-staff email from the director requesting whovever put it up to take it down (like he did with my "International Talk Like A Pirate Day" poster - I still havent thanked him for that free publicity;-)

Back in my kitchen, we see this, which translated from the French means "Please don't steal the horses", (I think).

This means "It's my house and I'll do what I like, even if you are Swedish"

And lastly, to make sense of the dreadful pun of the title above, there was a story in yesterday's Guardian diary about a couple of oiks in Lillehammer, Norway, who kicked in the door of a lift, FROM THE INSIDE. The fire brigade had to be called before they could be arrested.

I'm sure there's a constructive dismissal suit in the hook issue!

Norway: Nul Points!

The clever people. I don't suppose they were aiming for a quick esacpe. Makes the polices job easier though, if the criminal is going to get stuck somewhere and can't run away.
