Cuba

It is well known that I went to Cuba recently,as part of the 54th Nordic Brigade. 12 of us from the UK (and Sri Lanka) and more from Scandinavia and Germany and Slovenia.
Part of the time was spent working at CIJAM

I appeared to be the first person to be on first name terms with the staff, probably cos I spent too much time here,"Companero Andido" , skiving from some of the cultural/political stuff

I also got to handle a machete for clearing a field. I am sure Cubans could have done it but it was great to see the field full of seedlings after our efforts. They let ME have a machete??!
They also had one of these:

I fed it by hand and stroked its' nose (not)

Betters... but still needs to work a little harder. Mr Pisces could be brilliant if he could bother himself to be a bit more descriptive and a little less secretive about the nitty gritties...umm... where did you stay, what did you eat, what did the world smell like, what colour was the world...was it beautiful or just plain ? How tired did you get, was your back breaking with the effort and did the machete have any sort of history ...for examples....

...word of explanation about my previous scolding...I took 70 as an average only. Obviously you are going to make very very old bones, for you know what they say.......................

Bye byes for now

Oh, didn't I read sometime, somewhere that you lived in Teignmouth ? I love Teignmouth, especially in the winter. Was down there last week, popped into a lovely craft centre in the middle
of the old town and then scooted off to Newton Abbot for Witherspoons...oh yes, I love the high life ! But more than Teignmouth I really like Tiverton...have no real idea why, just do. Do you love where you presently live ? You could live anywhere.

You're right. It's certainly not me.
But it IS someone who knows your birth sign (I don't!).
I assumed Anon was female but perhaps not.

Perhaps or then perhaps not. I can't be your friend in real life because you need a female to cuddle and I just don't fit the bill and, anyway, you live too far away and are far to grumpy but I do give good advice - don't I ? I mean, I do care don't I ? You do matter don't ya ? But for your Cuba blog...umm

This is a merry game. I think Anon is perhaps someone we don't know at all. Or, maybe, we do.
One clue is the use of a space before
a question mark or exclamation mark - Old fashioned typing skillz, then...

Clearly it's someone who knows that Omally is a mister and that Trouty is a Mrs.
Anyway. It doesn't matter.
They DO give good advice.

Dearest Anonymous. I live in March, Cambs, where it is cold, flat, windy and bleak. Probably only temporarily as I am renting (for the first time in 30 years) and I am jobless, and getting no benefits.
I did live in Teignmouth until last year (for 20 years)
