Concrete Jungle

I had hoped that this would be an interesting conference. But no. Speeches on sticking decals on the outside of trains is not for me. At least the conference was free.
I went for a wander around the Barbican and Smithfield

Eventually I stumbled upon a place for lunch. Not normally a place where a vegetarian would eat. But I did. Clientele was 99% male, 98% men in suits (me and another bloke were the exceptions).
Just so I could justify my existence, I continued editing our Local Transport Plan for its reprint. My main recommendation is that the key for "apostrophe" on the author's keyboard should be relocated to the underside of the keyboard, or if that proves impracticable, at least wire the key directly to the mains. So many inappropriate greengrocer's ones.
Finally, on a whim, I visited the Church of St Bartholomew the Great, the oldest church in the Village of London
which was vaguely reminiscent of Hagia Sophia in Istanbul with its' sheer walls, high windows, arches and domes. And there was a sculpture by the reknowned sheep pickler

Butcher's is a great pub! Had many a happy pint in there whilst out caching with The Grockles. Did they have Red Fox on? That's quite possibly the best Fullers beer ever.

Pots and kettles, hutters! ;) There's no apostrophe in "its" when the meaning is "belonging to it" ...

Romanesque arches - unusual in this country. I must pay it a visit. :)

Did you get the virtual cache just outside the Butchers?

And come to that, why didn't you tell me you were going to be in The Nation's capital? I'd have come and met you for lunch!

My apologies for the stray apostrophe. I was looking at a document with dozens of them! *goes to edit, surreptitiously
