Apparently I had warnings she was going to leave me. These would include "picking me up from the station at 04.30" warning, the well known "holding hands" warning, and particularly the "cuddling all night just before you fuck off" warning, How stupid of me to miss these.

seems to me you only see/hear what you want to and don't actually listen and take any notice of the other stuff that's going on
If she had been happy, she wouldn't have left.
If she was unhappy, it was right to go.
Since she had left before, albeit briefly, you must have had a clue that something was wrong.
