When someone you love kicks you in the teeth, it is really hard to get over it. Completely out of the blue, months of resentment allowed to build up, apparently, she came home early, told me she was leaving, and went. In the end, we are all on our own. At least she came back, and may be all loved-up, but there is now a distance between us. That much pleading and crying is hard to recover from. I cant cope with depression, so it is not a surprise that she cant either.
Getting to look after goats and horses is no substitute, although a weekend in the country, house-sitting, is a fine thing.

Eh? What's happened?
Re: depression, what has your GP said/done?
I'm very sorry to hear this, my friend. I hope things get much better for you.
